If the project is small enough, or if the delivery timeline is very lenient. Otherwise, I like to form a small team -- often with a freelance designer and 1 or 2 junior developers.
Web and mobile app development can be the most straightforward, especially if the database is going to be quite small to start. Data analytics will depend on your database size, and ML projects will take 2-3 weeks to fully scope out, before I commit to a timeline.
Yes, but everything will be invoiced by the hour, and not considered part of a fixed-price scope for new builds. I am also always happy to show the app to the next developer or stakeholder.
